In addition to Pace Car numbering and badging, the car is painted Gulf Blue, which was limited to these 1500 examples only in the 1998 production year.
The car is fully loaded, with all options, including leather seats, heads up display and automatic sunroof.
In coordination with NASCAR, the car has been also been driven on both Michigan and Daytona International Speedways as part of the Pontiac Pace Car Club activities prior to the cup races in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
